Stanley Nachimson serves as National Electronic Standards Advisor for ABC Coding Solutions, Inc., a leading innovator in healthcare coding systems focused on connecting holistic and integrative care to reimbursement through the ABC Codes.

 

In this strategic advisory role, Nachimson leverages his deep expertise in health data standards, interoperability, and regulatory compliance to guide ABC Coding Solutions’ alignment with electronic transaction standards. He supports the company’s efforts to integrate ABC Codes seamlessly into HIPAA-compliant transactions, advance industry adoption of updated coding frameworks (including guidance on ICD-11 transitions), and enhance operational efficiency for insurers, providers, and networks. 
 

With over 30 years of senior experience at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), including key contributions to HIPAA policy, regulations, and implementation, Nachimson retired from federal service in 2007. He is Principal of Nachimson Advisors and a recognized thought leader in health IT standards, Health Level 7, and previously serving as X12’s first formal ICD-11 Subject Matter Expert.
