Michael Mullen is the Director of Research at ABC Coding Solutions. He has years of experience working in both the
integrative healthcare and medical communities giving him unique insight and perspective. His leadership and
interpersonal skills are matched with the ability to build rapport with colleagues, practitioners, and professionals at all
levels. He also brings marketing and networking experience from his time at ABC Coding Solutions and working with the
hospice community as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has proven ability in streamlining work practices, establishing
operating procedures, and thinking outside of the box to solve mission critical problems as they arise.

Mr. Mullen leads the research department which utilizes ABC Coding Solutions' code management database (CMDB). The CMDB
houses the entire ABC Code set. It also includes the legal logic portion of the database which establishes code assignment
to all of the provider types represented by ABC codes. This is done by monitoring changes to scope of practice laws and
regulations and how those changes affect the legality of procedures provided by integrative healthcare professionals. The CMDB
provides the information insurance companies need to make informed decisions on paying claims and allows for data collection
on the efficacy and effectiveness of integrative healthcare.
