SAN DIEGO, CA. January 23, 2004. Leaders of integrative medicine
organizations across the U.S. learned how a MedicarePlus plan
enhanced its market position by offering New Mexico seniors the
best of conventional, complementary and alternative medicine. The
Integrative Medicine Conference held two sessions on the
nationwide shift toward consumer-driven health plans and the role
of ABC codes in supporting the financing, administration and
delivery of integrative healthcare. Dr. Jeffrey Sollins, founder
of Bridges in Medicine and Synthia Molina, CEO of Alternative Link,
focused their presentations on healthcare philosophies, business
concepts and enabling technologies that proved essential in
providing seniors with affordable access to the nation’s best
healthcare practices.
